Cartoon Sheep at the Banks of the Nile

Last year I've made a roundtrip through Egypt. From Luxor by cruiseship to Aswan on the Nile, a visit to Cairo and some diving in the Red Sea at Hurghada.

Whereas the most of Egypt is just a extremely dry desert, the banks of the Nile are green and covered with palm trees.

On this trip I made - of course - loads of pictures. On the picture below you can see two of my cartoon friends standing on the banks of the Nile. Just saying hello to Cow (didn't see Chicken) and Donkey (didn't have the voice of Eddie Murphy).

Enjoy and just imagine yourself sitting there having a nice cup of fresh mint tea.

Looks very beautiful there in Egypt! Did you happen to see an ibis too Youssouf?

Dear Youssouf, If I only knew.......the Peanut-Bear could have been there in Egypt with you (sipping tea)...! But... bears are bad swimmers, so..........

Peanut-Bear: never seen a Kodiak or Grizzly bear swimming or catching salmon in a creek? Polar bears are excellent swimmers (for miles!). So I can imagine that Peanut-Bears are incredible swimmers... Especially if you know the correlation between (swimming!) fish and peanuts, like you do.

Nope, did not see any ibises. Turns out there are not that many in Egypt anymore (only in the zoo). The niche is taken up by those silver herons (Dutch: 'reigers'). From a distance they look like ibises to me. :D
