Dumb Sheep Joke

Two dumb (blond) sheep are walking on the grasslands.
Suddenly they both fall into a hole. They can't get out.

The first dumb blond sheep starts to shout: "Help!! Help!!"
It does not seem to work. No help is coming.
The first dumb sheep shouts again: "Help!!! Help!!" The second dumb sheep says: "It might help if we shout together."

The first dumb sheep shouts: "Together!! Together!!"

Sheep Cafe - Send a Sheep e-Card

In Sheep Cafe there is a section where you can send sheep. As an e-card.
The sheep are all in the same cartoon style. I really like this style! They are funny and well-drawn sheep, like the image on the left.

Some cards do have text (in German) on it, some cards don't. Since there are many dozens of different cards for every occasion you can imagine, you will always be able to find a nice one. If you have difficulties choosing and are rather undecisive: prepare yourself.

Enjoy and send your friends (or me?) a sheep e-Card!

SheepShopping: Cute Stuffed Plush Marionette Puppet Lamb

Sheep Pick

Animal Treasures offers a great - and I mean brilliantly great - lamb marionette puppet.
As they call it a Baby SHEEP Stuffed Plush Marionette Puppet BRAND NEW.

It is 8 inches tall, 16 inches floor to control bar. It is only US$6,99, so that is not too expensive. The shop is eBay powered. This marionette looks really cool. I love it!

Sheep Twist English Tongues

Baah-baah bääh babaah bäbaeh baaaah is one of the most difficult tongue twisters in Bleatish - my sheep language, don't even bother to pronounce it.

But even in English sheep are involved in twisting human tongues.
The following tongue twister is said to be the most difficult tongue twisters in English:

The sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick

If your tongue still feels ultimately relaxed after repeating the above sentense for sixty-six times, you can try more tongue twisters here.

SheepShopping: White Sheep v Black Sheep Chess Set

Sheep Picks

The sheep of this chess set are really great. The series of sheep also offers moneypigs (sheep), photoframes and statues. This is the chess set.
If you love it, bid on it on eBay. Bidding closes in 6 days.

Don't worry if the bidding period has passed: the chess set is regularly offered by different sellers :-)

Sheep News: Sheep Gives Howard a Bear Hug

Sheep petting and cuddling is fun - especially with plush toy sheep.
Sometimes sheep want to give something back, like the Australian prime minister John Howard experienced (though the intentions were a little differen).

PRIME Minister John Howard got a bear hug today from a protester dressed as a sheep.

Three activists protesting against live animal exports called out to Mr Howard as he arrived at the Perth Christian Life Centre for the campaign launch of four Liberals who are contesting marginal seats.

A young woman wearing a sheep costume managed to thwart security measures, and grabbed Mr Howard in a bear hug.

The Prime Minister looked startled but laughed and hugged her back before going into the meeting.

SuperLambBanana

Today I encountered one of the weirdest sheep ever.
The SuperLambBanana.
It is a combination of a giant banana with a giant lamb. That's right.
Coincidentally a friend of mine is really into eating banana's, so it would be a nice combination for him.

What is it all about? Let's do some citing:
Commissioned in 1998 for Britain’s Art Transpennine exhibition, SuperLambBanana is one of the most popular and instantly recognisable pieces of public sculpture in Liverpool. The SuperLambBanana is the work of the Japanese artist Taro Chiezo.

And why a SuperLambBanana in Liverpool? Why a banana, why a lamb (well obviously sheep are cool, so that's not a real question)?
In considering Liverpool’s maritime history, the SuperLambBanana sculpture relates to the mercantile exploration of foreign lands and the city’s long history of the import (bananas) and export (sheep) of exotic objects.

Right-e.
And you can also buy a ceramic replica (see picture below) of SuperLambBanana online!

Sheep Joke: The Cowboy and the Indian

While riding one day, a cowboy met an Indian riding along with a dog and a sheep and he began a conversation.

Cowboy: 'Hey, nice dog you got there. Mind if I speak to him?

Indian: 'Dog no talk.'

Cowboy: 'Hey dog, how's it going?'

Dog: 'Doin' alright.'

Indian: Look of shock.

Cowboy: 'Is this Indian your owner?' Pointing at the Indian.

Dog: 'Yep.'

Cowboy: 'How does he treat you?'

Dog: 'Real good. He walks me twice a day, feeds me great food, and takes me to the lake once a week to play.'

Indian: Look of disbelief.

Cowboy: 'Mind if I talk to your horse?'

Indian: 'Horse no talk.'

Cowboy: 'Hey horse, how's it going?'

Horse: 'Good.'

Indian: Extreme look of shock.

Cowboy: 'Is this your owner?' Pointing at the Indian.

Horse: 'Yep.'

Cowboy: 'How does he treat you?'

Horse: 'Pretty good, thanks for asking. He rides me regularly, brushes me down often, and keeps me in a shed to protect me.'

Indian: Complete look of utter amazement.

Cowboy: 'Mind if I talk to your sheep?'

Indian: 'Sheep liar.'

Youssouf in Turkey: Gallery Türkmen

As you know, I am just back from my trip to Turkey.

In popular touristic places like Kusadasi you find lots of shops.
They sell souvenirs (the protecting eye is very popular), t-shirts (all famous brands like Nike, Von Dutch, Armani, but all fake). There are lots of small bazaars where you can buy tea or spices. Or waterpipes, leather clothing and bags, onyx statues or pottery. Don't forget the famous gold shops (some I could call jewellry store) and carpet, rug & kelim shops.
If it is made in Turkey, you can find it.

Except for one store. A Turkmen store named Gallery Türkmen. With a large section of authentic products from Turkmenistan. Quite interesting - at least different from all the other shops - and nice products as well. Traditional hats with a 'bell-tower' for married women.
Well, you can see those things in museums for ethnology. Interesting for sure.

And good enough for making pictures :-)

On the first picture you can see me in the shop. With all those authentic hand made pots (I don't know the name, anyone??).

On the second picture me Youssouf on the top shelf with a giant Turkmen sheep made out of - I guess - iron and sheep horns. Really cool piece. It was a bit too big for my knapsack though (did not buy it).

On the third picture me Youssouf with some of those boxes, this time not the new ones (that like a bit oldish), but some antique ones from 50 to 150 years old.

Really great :-)
On the card I have from the Türkmen Shop is a website location, but it does not seem to work. Anyways, if you want to visit the store: Türkmen Shop, Camikebir Mah. Safak Sok. No. 6, Kusadasi, Turkey. It is quite near the sea.

Nevertheless I hope you enjoy my little Turkmen adventure in Turkey. I always try to sniff for the odd things (12856 Turkish shops and I find the one Turkmen).

Sheep Game: Saute Moutons

A nice Flash game in French. Don't worry if your French is just as bad as your Fluf-Bleatish (what I speak), just click play and you will play. Saute Moutons is nothing less but a game of leap-frog. But in France they don't use frogs, but sheep (mouton).

The game: you are a running sheep and you have to stay alive. Avoid the nasty dogs, the crows and the electric wired fences by jumping at the right moment. Stay alive earn points by eating bites of grass and gain extra lives (vies) by picking up hearts.

The controls? Space bar to jump. The longer you hold, the bigger the jump.

Saute Moutons is a game from ZEBEST-3000.COM.

Enjoy and stay alive!
